Content Management Fundamentals and the Information Infrastructure

Information management has been in practice for several decades, better known as Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and deployments have realized significant cost savings and operational efficiency improvements. In spite of this, however, a great deal of enterprise information remains unmanaged. In order to meet the challenge of bringing all enterprise information assets under control the core ECM components must be combined with other technologies and applied in innovative ways. In this session you will learn about the fundamentals of content management and explore the ways in which these proven technologies are being applied in the Enterprise Information Infrastructure.
