Growing governance and compliance requirements have placed increasing demands on storage systems and on the applications that use them. This session reviews best practices for storage and applications including information protection, preservation, retention management, deletion, confidentiality, and e-discovery.

1. A review of requirements for compliance storage and implications for the applications that use them
2. Management of retention with different use cases including retention hold, event based retention, extending retention, and privileged delete
3. Ensuring confidentiality of information while also allowing rapid access for e-discovery
